Natalia Turchin is the owner of a beautiful and flexible soprano voice but more important a flexible and lively mind! She also possess an excellent intuition, genuine temperament and, I'm sorry, not inherent in most vocalists, quite extensive erudition.

Наталия Туркин - обладательница красивого и гибкого сопрано, но, что гораздо важнее - гибкого и живого ума! Отличной интуиции, неподдельного темперамента и, прошу прощения, не присущей большинству вокалистов, довольно обширной эрудиции.

Natalia Turchin performed the role of Elvira in Rossini's "L'Italiana in Ageri" that I conducted this past June and July in Romagna (Italy) for “La Musica Lirica”, a program for young singers. She acquitted herself admirably. She has a lovely lyric voice and showed herself a good musician and actress.

A lyric soprano, with a warm, powerful voice, she combines a deeply focused professionalism with a profound love and appreciation of every note she sings, every character she illuminates, and every work she graces. She is that rare combination of rich, clear voice with an unparalleled acting talent, stage presence, and the ability to fit instantly into any opera company fortunate enough to have attracted her. At the same time her training as a vocal and orchestral conductor has provided her with a unique perspective on the opera world of the 21st century.
